dc.descriptionMacroeconomic factors such as price stability, the determining factors for economic growth. Under this scenario, the present study focuses on analyzing the effect of price stability on economic growth in 12 Latin American countries, that is, it seeks to clarify the impact of price stability on economic growth. For this, they are presented as hypothesis that the stability of prices has a positive influence on economic growth. In order to demonstrate this hypothesis, through an annual data panel for the period 1996-2015. The results obtained confirm the hypothesis, the countries that experience the stability of the prices in a period previous to an economic growth of 1.086%. Values below 4% inflation were used to establish the stability criterion.en
