| Descripción : | The following business plan seeks the bamboo industry in order to analyze the feasibility of creating a company that is dedicated to the production, export and marketing of bamboo bicycles with natural fibers in their central structures. BambooBike is a product that stands out for being friendly with the environment, help mobilization of habitants of New Jersey being part of the new healthy lifestyle that the habitants are choosing to have. Ecuador is a country where bamboo grows in all four regions; coast, mountain range, east and Galapagos Islands. Ecuadorian incentives support industrialization projects with tax exemption. This allows new international markets making Ecuador known as a competitive country offering value-added products. Nowadays the trend of environmental care and health has been increasing substantially. Sport is an important factor since the idea of the business is to offer a product that serves as a mobilization tool. Where exercise is carried out and, in turn, the product is not harmful to the environment that can replace bicycles made by aluminum or carbon fiber. Bamboo bicycles by BambooBike will be distributed in New Jersey- United States through specialized stores. The results indicate that the feasibility of entering the country and the industry is moderate. The active population that plays sports is 32% and in constant growth. Therefore, it is an attractive market for export since the figures project profit margins with a NPV of 67.909,51 and an IRR of 30, 99%. Finally, its cash flows that help cover operating activities and sales generated a 12% profit at the end of the financial year. |
