| dc.description | The title work presented below has been develop in a company whose objective is the production and marketing of Japanese food; this work is focus on the production plant and administrative facilities located in Quito - Ecuador. The design of a management information model for decision-making is the main objective in this work, which seeks to improve the productivity of the company with a strategy of business intelligence through the implementation of Microsoft Power BI. To begin this work, it was necessary to carry out an initial diagnosis that traces the starting point of the project; also, it was necessary to make a survey of the processes that sampled how the company was managed and if they were adapted to the ERP implemented. From this study, it is possible to determine which would be the indicators necessary for the control system that designed to fit the business. The approach of the documentation formats and the monitoring of the indicators that help a global control of the business was the consecutive step to define the strategy and describe the parameters to consider and consolidate the model of managerial control. Finally, a cost-benefit analysis was carry out consolidating the proposal, showing not only productivity but also economic gains, demonstrating the profitability and feasibility of project implementation. | en |
