Resumen : Objetivo. Este estudio tiene como objetivo determinar la prevalencia de piezas dentarias incluidas en pacientes que acuden al centro de atención odontológica. Además, identificar las inclusiones dentales más frecuentes entre maxilar y mandíbula, relacionando la inclusión dental con género y edad. Materiales y métodos. Estudio observacional, descriptivo, transversal, retrospectivo, describiendo con qué frecuencia se genera, recolectando datos en un periodo de 3 meses, con radiografías de pacientes que acuden a la clínica Odontológica UDLA. Se seleccionan radiografías de pacientes que asisten a clínica en periodo 2016 1,2 según los criterios de inclusión y exclusión. En el criterio de inclusión se considera el nivel de formación del diente completo, parcial, ubicación exacta en donde se localizó la inclusión, tipo de sombra radiográfica radiopaca radiolúcida según género y edad. Resultados. Los resultados determinaron que según el género la mayor predisposición presentó el género masculino con el 59,6 por ciento de los casos y en el género femenino el 40,4 por ciento; con respecto a sus edades, menores de 20 años hasta 60 años la edad que más presentó prevalencia fue de 20 a 29 años se encuentran inclusiones dentales 47,5 por ciento entretanto en género masculinos como en el femenino. Conclusiones. El apropiado diagnóstico, permite identificar las inclusiones dentales en maxilar y mandíbula, brindando una mejor opción para elaborar un adecuado plan de tratamiento; permitiendo un resultado de pronóstico favorable para paciente. Descripción : Objective. This study aims to determine the prevalence of dental pieces included in patients who come to the dental care center. Also, identify the most frequent dental inclusions between the jaw and jaw and relate dental inclusion to gender and age. Materials and methods The present research is observational, descriptive, cross sectional, since it will be described how frequently the phenomenon studied is generated, through a data collection in a short period of time 3 months, which will consist of radiographs of The patients that go to the Udla Dental Clinic, will be selected radiographies of patients who attend the clinic of the period 2016 1,2 according to the inclusion and exclusion. Inclusions that are presented will be taken into account the level of formation of the tooth if it is partial complete, the exact location where the inclusion took place, what kind of shadow is observed in the inclusion is radiopaque according to its gender, its age. Results.The results of dental inclusions determined according to age and gender were more predisposing in men corresponding to 59.6 percent of cases and female corresponds to the remaining 40.4 percent; With respect to their ages, between children under 20 years old up to 60 years resulted in ages between 20 to 29 years are dental inclusions 47.5 percent between male and female.
