This academic exercise comprises the area of the interior architecture of health and has been developed based on the characteristics unique to a center specialized in the diagnosis and treatment of disease or hearing disorder. The approach of the objectives and their achievement oriented based on the concept of Synesthesia, understood as the ability of individuals to activate or associate two or more senses to a single stimulus; has allowed through the use of materials, forms and textures to achieve the same capability to all users of the space. To do this, frequencies and sounds bass or treble wave variations have been symbolized in different plants through their geometry; as well as the lightness and purity of sound represented in the intensity of color, its inclination to clear or dark, and finally sweet or strident ringer characterized in texture coatings and materials used. The characteristics of external users customers, mostly with physical disabilities have also been taken into account that is why the circulation horizontal and vertical of the space, guarantee free access to all areas from the same entrance to the building. Acoustics had had special attention throughout the project, each one of the designed spaces has unique characteristics and in function of these results the type of material to be placed, based on the properties that these supplies offer according to the manufacturers in their data sheets. Another achievement is through the design of plants and open spaces, allowing the entry of light and natural ventilation to more than 70 percent of the areas, thus contributing to energy saving. We have worked also in the approach of a new facade for the building, the intention in its design is to create through its cone or funnel shape, variations in color and transparency, the feeling that the building captures the sounds of the world and takes us to its interior.en
