Descripción : The main objective of this thesis is to establish a viable Business Plan for the production and merchandising of the beverage ALCOHOL KILLER in Quito. The main goal is to offer a quality product to our customers achieving quick expansion in the Ecuadorian market. The company, ALCOHOL KILLER Ecuador, will be in charge of the exclusive production distribution of the Slovenian Brand ALCOHOL KILLER in Ecuador, being the only distributor of this beverage in the local market. This way the company can assure the constant supply of the product allowing for a faster short and medium term expansion. To define the target market it was necessary to focus on a segment of 28.610 people between the ages of 20 and 44, who live in the urban area of Quito, belonging to the economically active population, of average and high socioeconomic status and who consume alcoholic beverages. The investigation was focused on this segment to analyze their needs and behavior to establish the necessary strategies that fulfill these parameters. Once that the general strategies where defined, it was necessary to proceed with the proper planning to establish the Company. The Company will have the top technology in order to produce a drink that complies with the best quality standards. The product has to be able to compete with the already existing products in the market. For this the main strategies that will be used are positioning and differentiation strategies in order to fulfill the companies and the Brands objectives. The Business Model Works with a Royalties scheme which will be paid periodically to the Brand in Slovenia. In addition to the production costs, this allows for an efficient cost management allowing for profitable margins. ALCOHOL KILLER ECUADOR will consist of a young and dynamic work team who provides new and creative ideas for a productive work performance. The Company will need a total of $106303 initial investment which will be financed by a Bank Loan as 50% of the total and the rest 50% as capital investment.
