dc.descriptionThis research journalistic work pretends to reveal the social-cultural impacts that bring community tourism to the community Ponce-Quilatoa which belongs to Zumbahua at province of Cotopaxi. This choice of tourism looks forward to have sustainability and viability to the communities that have high index of poverty with the aim to improve their quality of live and have good living. The main attractions that hold this kind of tourism, is the unique indigenous culture that inhabit this area and the natural environment, which is no longer modified neither altered by both the population and the tourists, so the people in situ will have profitability for their next generations. It is a kind of tourism where the own population get organized among their families and work in different activities to obtain an equal share of the profits. This is with the goal to encourage of being together, respect and solidarity. But, which are the positive and negative consequences that bring this activity to the population? Which are their necessities in relation to the community tourism? Along the thesis is going to be checked with the communicational theory of Pierre Bordieu that talks about fields, habits and capitals. Where is going to be given place for the own inhabitants to share their problems and tell their requirements to be listened to. This community journalism let give voice to the unconsidered population which has not been taken in care and want to be known to find solutions to its inner conflicts. In this case, this community Ponce- Quilatoa pretends to become self-confident to allow quality of service to the tourists and themselves, so in this way both parts get benefits. But, for this they need more support, help for the actors that take part in the project.en
