Descripción : Ecuador has a rich history dating back to the aboriginal societies. It is estimated that the first inhabitants appeared about 18,000 years ago B.C. His style economy was based primarily on the collection and agriculture. The discoveries of archaeological temples and ceremonial centers in different parts of the country, are testimony to its existence. This first stage has been divided into the Paleoindio, Training, Regional Development, Integration and Inca periods. The latter speaks of the Inca people in Ecuador, he occupied the highlands of the Andes and along the coastline, harboring ethnic groups with different customs and languages. Its hegemonic stay ended with the arrival of the Spaniards from 1532, when heavy fighting occurred. Consolidated the conquest of Aboriginal territories, for 1563, the Royal Audience of Quito to the south was established as a colony of Spain, its boundaries reached the north what is now Pasto, Popayan, Cali, Buenaventura and Buga (Colombia), and Piura (Peru). In the late eighteenth century and due to external causes such as the influence of the French Revolution, came the independence of the Spanish colonial territories in America.
