| dc.description | This project is about an icon character that came from Galápagos, his name is Lonesome George. How important was this turtle in life and the impact that he had in the community to know that he was the last of its kind. This animal shows us that many times the human is stranger to try to troubleshoot situations caused by them and leave us a message to take into account what is important to protect the flora and fauna in the actual world we are living in. To make the short film possible we have to take account the most important events that led that Lonesome George ended up being the last of its kind and what negative things human had done in this process... | dc.description.abstract | Este proyecto habla sobre un personaje ícono en las Islas Galápagos que es “El Solitario George”, él fue de gran importancia ya que fue el último de su especie y al no tener descendencia se extinguió. El cortometraje demuestra que muchas veces el hombre es ajeno a solucionar situaciones provocadas por él mismo. El guión del proyecto se construye basándose en toda la parte investigación. De esta se sacó varios datos específicos, fechas importantes y características muy indispensables para formar la historia. Como por ejemplo el origen de la extinción de las tortugas, los intentos que hicieron varios científicos y ecologistas para que la especie de solitario George tuviera descendencia, etc. Todo esto dio paso a la construcción de la historia...
