| dc.description | This work focuses on researching psychoacoustics theories oriented for sound source localization in binaural perception of sound and the digital signal processing techniques required for the implementation in the form of a software that is responsible for transforming monophonic input signals into binaural output signals. The software is designed and developed in MAX/MSP is programming language, in an intuitive way that allows the user to control the position of the monophonic input source and it is convolution with the Head Related Transfer Functions (HRTF) of several individuals, considering the psychoacoustic phenomena present in human audition in the processing stage. Finally, tests are conducted with the objective of evaluating the software that performs processing for a single input signal by the processing being done by the software for a same input signal by the comparison of their spectral analysis binaural outputs for different positions. | en |
