dc.descriptionIn the following research assignment, its important to understand the existent normative of Labor Laws between Ecuador and Colombia, this way we can set a legal criteria that can help both the employer and employee through the development of their working hours and employment relationship. The hours in which they can work, as well as the increase of time they receive, depend on what they work. Both countries have a similar ways to recharge the working hours but it increases according to hours of the day. During your working day, the forms, types and recovery hours are analyzed. Both in Ecuador and Colombia the differences are minimal, but they do vary in relationship to the conditions and monetary surcharges that have to be paid by the employer. One of the most important differences is the break or lunch time you get during the middle of your working day, in Ecuador it can be up to two hours, but in Colombia they use these breaks for employees to participate in activities that capacitate them and are recreational. Through these activities employees improve their occupational health and generate more integration as well as a feeling of well being. Do to the fact that work is a right; its regulated by agreements and treaties which have been ratified by Ecuador and Colombia. These international agreements have the function of governing different types of situations in certain countries in order to obtain greater social justice. The ILO (International Labour Organization) takes into considerations certain norms and principles which are intended for the protection of the employee and also a working hours regulation, trying this way to avoid different types of abuse such as minor exploitation in jobs that are inhumanen
