| dc.description | The objective of this project is to respond to a necessity, by the construction of three musical instruments, one of each category: percussion, wind, string; following a design process which includes a morphological analysis that combines various procedures of own elaboration and construction such as: geometric modeling, relevance charts, selection process, scale models/prototypes and the creation of the brand of projects. The process of elaboration for these instruments started with intuition and is based in the analysis of human culture - historical development and its primal need to create, looking forward to improve life in harmony with nature, keeping a spiritual bond according its worldview. The instruments obtained in this design process respond to a sensitive lectura of use and function, creating objects both playful and easy understandable, according to the target of the project. The materials used to create these instruments are solid waste materials such as: brass, steel, polyvinyl chloride (PVC), leather, among others, which can be easily found, and recycling and reusing them avoids contamination. The value of this approach lies in the possibility to apply these instruments as complementary tools in the education of children and youth. Besides, these objects carry their own green philosophy, related to a modern vision, which seeks to reassess the music potential in human and artistic development of each individual. | en |
