Resumen : Este plan de negocios tiene por objetivo producir cuyes vivos, para la comercialización en las provincias de Tungurahua, Imbabura y Pichincha. Se escogieron estas provincias ya que son los lugares donde más se consume el cuy y la demanda se encuentra insatisfecha debido a que los grandes productores existentes exportan a diferentes países del mundo, en cambio, los pequeños productores y principales proveedores de los asaderos crían estos de manera artesanal…
Descripción : The objective of this business plan is the commercialization of guinea pigs in three states of Ecuador; Tungurahua, Imbabura and Pichincha we have chose this states because they are the ones that don´t get their demand satisfied. In the last years, the biggest guinea pigs producers export their products to other countries and the little ones just raised these animals in a non technical way. Coba-Agro will raised guinea pigs in a technical way based on strictly sanitary norms which guarantee the client the quality of this meat, nowadays many producers don’t count with this business strategy The study of the food industry is important because in this chapter we study the different industry tendencies in the past years in order to predict which will be the economic development during the project. In order to satisfy the demand, we will sign business strategies with small producers so we can buy them a number of raised guinea pigs for our commercialization. The price of selling one guinea pig is $5,06 and we should sell 3699 animals per year in order to be balanced and don’t obtain profit or lost. The project will have the support of different kind of professionals like business and productive graduates; also we will count with external help like lawyers, veterinarians and accouters in order to keep the business running. The salaries will be based on political norms and different regularization of Ecuador. The 57% of business investment will be financed by partners and the 43% remaining will be a loan form the bank “Banco de Guayaquil” with an rate of interest of 8,2% per year during 3 years because we are the winners of the program “Siembra Futuro” which promote leadership and the beginning of new small business in the country.
