dc.descriptionThis project aims to raise awareness about the loss of one of the traditional games of Ecuador (the spinning top), in order that the viewer can identify with the story and connect with the idea of ​​the inner child within. As an initial phase, it starts with theoretical research on what constitutes the country's intangible heritage as the basis for understanding the importance of cultural and traditional identity that establish true social belonging and collective memory. In addition, it will be informed about the different traditional games that exist in Ecuador, to select one of them with which the narrative of the short film will be built. On the other hand, when preparing an animated short as a communication tool, this project will present information and concepts about animation that will serve as the basis for defining a solid proposal that supports the production of the audiovisual piece. It is important to mention that there has also been research on the animation industry in the country, and although it is a field that still does not have the necessary support from government agencies and a collective interest at a social level, it has evolved and grown so much. nationally and internationally. It is for this reason, and for the relevance that it has at the level of communication, entertainment and cultural force that the production of high quality content in Ecuador should be encouraged.en
