The company Apiarios Alejandría was founded in 2012 by the Engineer Fernando Hidalgo, looking to dedicate himself to the beekeeping world, that many years ago keep his interest and generate a passion in Fernando. All starts from 5 small hives located in the Valle de los Chillos.Quito, Ecuador; to have about 90 hives distributed between the Valle de los Chillos, Lasso.Cotopaxi and Guaranda.Bolívar. The growth of hives has also generated the growth of products production, such as bee honey and pollen, and consequently increased demand for the product. The color and characteristic taste of both honey and pollen have made this product quite demanded by customers that the company has obtained and kept faithfully during these 7 years of working, but unfortunately the monetary return and the delays in deliveries cause the product to lose more market opening. The main idea of this thesis is to propose to the company to build out production lines for honey, raw or dry pollen 80 percent and propolis packaged in a physical space in a place that the company can dispose, but having in mind the location of customers and suppliers , in order to generate greater production that allows to produce at the levels that the market currently demands, and projecting to grow with these products to new markets. Propolis is currently not a product that the company manufactures, but if it is constantly required by a specific customer, so it is accommodated in this plant design. The first step will be to carry out a market study that allows us to know how the competition is and how viable is the launch of these products, and then start defining the characteristics of these. Once we have these characteristics and the analysis of the demands based on historical 2018, we will design the new process, which is the basis of the design and arrangement of the physical spaces determined and structured through a dimensional analysis and craft to optimize the proposed design. Finally we analyze the whole project with an economic feasibility study to know that the proposed project is profitable, taking into account terms and conditions for the financing of the project, and analyzing all the costs and expenses that need to be made for the company work as it proposes.en
