Resumen : El plan de negocios de la empresa PitStop Garage tiene como principal objetivo determinar la viabilidad comercial y financiera del servicio de mecánica express a domicilio en la ciudad de Quito. La iniciativa surge de la necesidad de contar con una opción alternativa a un esquema de negocio tradicional, que optimiza el tiempo y la calidad del servicio para el cliente. Para cumplir con el propósito del proyecto, se inició con el análisis PEST de la industria, así como las 5 fuerzas de Porter; en esta primera fase se determinó que la empresa incursionará en un mercado competitivo que está en constante crecimiento, a pesar de la recesión económica y la incertidumbre política. El resultado de la matriz EFE es positivo para el proyecto, debido a que las oportunidades superan a las amenazas, esto permitirá enfrentar los factores externos que puedan afectar el negocio. De igual forma, se realizó un análisis cuantitativo y cualitativo en el segmento para conocer los gustos y preferencias del cliente, así como el criterio de los expertos en el campo. De este apartado, se concluyó que el servicio debe ser minucioso, de tal manera que genere confianza y encuentre su mayor fortaleza en la diferenciación; ese sería el punto de partida para la elaboración del plan de marketing, el cual explora todas las fortalezas que un servicio diferenciado requiere, en el que gracias a las expectativas del cliente potencial el factor generador de valor es más por más, ya que se mejora un servicio tradicional, por un precio mayor al de la competencia. Finalmente, se desarrolló un plan financiero proyectado a 5 años, con un crecimiento anual del 2 por ciento. Los resultados pronosticados son positivos desde el primer año de funcionamiento gracias a que la inversión inicial es muy moderada, la estructura de costos es sustentable en el tiempo, de tal manera que la inversión se recuperaría en 3.6 años a una tasa interna de retorno del 28 por ciento lo cual indica que el proyecto es viable y genera rentabilidad.
Descripción : The main objective of the business plan of the company PitStop Garage is to determine the commercial and financial viability of the express mechanics service in Quito. The initiative arises from the need for an alternative option to a traditional business scheme, which optimizes the time and quality of service for the customer. To begin with the project fulfilment, the first step was making PEST analysis of the industry, as well as the 5 forces of Porter; in this first stage, the results determined that the company belongs to a competitive market that is constantly growing, despite economic recession and political issues. The EFE matrix results are positive for the project, because the opportunities outweigh the threats, this will enable the company to address external factors that may affect it. Similarly, a quantitative and qualitative analysis was carried out in the segment to find out the customer is tastes and preferences as well as the criteria of the experts in the field. The results suggested that the service must be thorough, in order to create confidence for the clients, and get it is biggest strength by differentiation; that was the starting line for the development of the marketing plan, which explores all the strengths that a differentiated service requires, in which the expectations of the potential customer indicate that the value-generating factor is more for more, since a traditional service is improved, for a price higher than that of the competition. Finally, a five-year financial plan was developed, with annual growth of 2 percent of. The predicted results are positive from the first year of operation because the initial investment is very moderate. The cost structure is sustainable over time, so that the investment would recover in 3.6 years at an internal rate of return of 28 percent of, indicating that the project is viable and generates profitability.
