Descripción : This business plan was born with the aim to create a company that produces and commercializes a product focused on women through a food option that naturally contributes to the reduction of menstrual cramps and the regulation of women is cycles. Artemisa Arte-sano emerges from the thought of women health and well-being who prefer to use alternative, holistic, ayurvedic and ancestral medicine methods; thus, allowing to please the taste for feminine care. Artemisa is an ancestral plant, which takes the name of a Greek goddess known for the care and healing of women. The extract of this plant, when mixed with other natural components, creates a product to a potential market of women living in Quito. To know if the business plan is feasible in operational and financial terms of the industry, needed to be identified and made the external factor of study. Some of these factors were policies, economic, social, cultural and technological dynamics which could influence the performance of the business plan. Additionally, Porter is five forces were analyzed in order to understand the industry variables. A market study was also done, which allowed to obtain inferential statistical results with correlations between variables and contingency tables. Moreover, the market plan was based on the consumer behavior and the external and internal environments; it defined the business philosophy, vision, mission, medium and long-term objectives, the organizational structure the value chain, the process map, the import logistics and any permissions necessary for the implementation of the company. To conclude, a five-year financial plan was carried out which considered the initial investment, the capital structure, the working capital, the sales projection, the income statement and the cash flow of this project. In addition, the investor focused on obtaining the financial indicators that allowed the decision making to realize the present business plan.
