Descripción : Production of bio-concrete in the city of Quito; business idea that is born from generating a product identical to cement, but with better characteristics for the final consumer; since the conventional cement does not manage to satisfy the needs of these generating eruptions and deterioration in structures due to the quality that this presents, at the same time that generates a high environmental impact. The bio-concrete aims to meet these needs through providing a cement that has self-regenerating characteristics and greater resistance, friendly to the environment, which would generate satisfaction in potential customers who are specialized builders of the city of Quito. From the aforementioned, an analysis of PEST external factors and study of Porter is five forces was carried out to generate a global expectation of the state of the cement industry in the city of Quito and establish potential threats within it. Once the market study was completed, a qualitative and quantitative analysis was carried out on a sample of people from the city of Quito; specifically students of the UDLA of the Architecture career and professionals in the area of construction, with the objective of knowing the preferences, expectations, deficiencies, costs and prices in which the cement competes locally. Based on these data, input strategies, the value proposal and a marketing plan for the presentation of the product were developed, as well as the price definition through the Van Westendorp model. After this point the type of company appropriate for this type of business was defined, the main productive processes and organizational structure, as well as the mission, vision and general objective on which the bio-concrete production company intends to establish itself. Finally, a financial projection was generated with the data obtained in the aforementioned points and the profitability of the company was analyzed through the analysis of sales, raw material costs, fixed and variable expenses, and amounts of investments, as well as the margin of gain for the viability of the project.
