Descripción : Introduction: The nursing professional from an ideological perspective seeks patient safety, considering as a primary point the compliance with the application of informed consent to surgical patients, respecting the regulations and the right to information. Although informed consent has its legal roots with the Nuremberg Code that made explicit reference to the voluntary consent subject, it was not until 1964 that the Declaration of Helsinki was formulated and 1966 that W.H. Stewart, will establish the requirement of informed consent, and will seriously consider this ethical principle in medical interventions. In Ecuador it is stipulated in art. 362 of the Constitution that health services shall be safe, of quality and warmth, and shall guarantee informed consent, access to information and confidentiality of patient information (Law Second Section: Health, 2008). Objective: To determine the characteristics of application of informed consent to adult surgical patients in the surgery service of the General Teaching Hospital of Calderón and to propose strategies to improve the quality of the process. Methods: the type of study is quantitative, descriptive and cross-sectional, as well as surveys of health personnel and patients. The information obtained will be analyzed statistically to develop a proposal that strengthens the compliance of the process. Results: A quantitative analysis will be made about the application of informed consent that allows identifying the strengths and weaknesses in the application process. Conclusion: The timely and efficient application of informed consent to surgical patients guarantees the right to information and their safety.2019-01-01T00:00:00ZFactores asociados con el incumplimiento de la cobertura de vacunas en niños menores de 5 años del Centro de Salud de Carapungo 1 del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito 17D02, en el periodo de marzo- junio del 2019Lombeida Lincango, Roswel Alexandrahttp://dspace.udla.edu.ec/handle/33000/116372021-04-06T13:34:16Z2019-01-01T00:00:00ZTítulo : Factores asociados con el incumplimiento de la cobertura de vacunas en niños menores de 5 años del Centro de Salud de Carapungo 1 del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito 17D02, en el periodo de marzo- junio del 2019

Descripción : The National Immunization Strategy Program is part of one of the Service Provision Components of the Comprehensive Community and Intercultural Family Health Care Model, which aims to achieve vaccination coverage. The objective of this titling work was to determine the factors associated with noncompliance with vaccine coverage in children under 5 years of age at the Carapungo 1 Health Center, Metropolitan District of Quito 17D02. The methodology used is qualitative-descriptive and retrospective that was carried out through surveys, which were formed of 11 closed questions, 30 parents and relatives of children under 5 years were found with the incomplete vaccine scheme. The results obtained were that in the Health Center of Carapungo 1 the coverage of the first three months of the year 2019 reaches a percentage of 10.8% which is low with reference of ideal percentage of 25% monthly and according to the coverage of the Expanded Program of Immunization aims to achieve immunizations of 60-80% annually, we find that one of the factors for which users do not go to the vaccination of children is inadequate care by the nursing staff representing 35% so they prefer go to the Carapungo Health Center 2. In the article by Gallardo and Grándon (2013), he mentions that 65% of the population reports that nursing care is quality; In the titling work we have that 11 people representing 40% indicate that nursing treatment is never friendly, this indicates that it is the cause of the breach of vaccine coverage in children under 5 years of the Carapungo Health Center 1. At the end of the analysis of the data, it is concluded: to propose a plan of continuous improvement which is directed to the nursing staff, since it is based on talks to improve the nurse-patient relationship, follow-up will be carried out for six months and then a User satisfaction survey and this will ensure that the health center coverage reaches the expected goals.2019-01-01T00:00:00ZFactores asociados con el incumplimiento de la cobertura de vacunas en niños menores de 5 años del Centro de Salud Vicentina, del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito 17D04, en el periodo de marzo- junio del 2019Caza Collaguazo, Katherine Betsabehttp://dspace.udla.edu.ec/handle/33000/116272021-03-23T22:00:21Z2019-01-01T00:00:00ZTítulo : Factores asociados con el incumplimiento de la cobertura de vacunas en niños menores de 5 años del Centro de Salud Vicentina, del Distrito Metropolitano de Quito 17D04, en el periodo de marzo- junio del 2019

Descripción : The National Immunization Strategy Program is part of one of the Service Provision Components of the Comprehensive Community and Intercultural Family Health Care Model which is based on complying with the ideal vaccination coverage. The objective: of this degree work was to determine the factors associated with non-compliance with vaccine coverage in children under 5 years of age in the Vicentine Health Center Metropolitan District of Quito 17D04. Materials and methodology: qualitative-descriptive and retrospective, was carried out an interview through a survey of 11 closed questions. Results: According to the investigation we can determine that the most relevant factors for non-compliance with the vaccine coverage of the Vincentian Health Center are: poor care and lack of information by nursing staff with 40 percent, which because parents do not attend to vaccinate their children, so they are more likely to get immune-preventable diseases putting the health of the infant at risk. Likewise, it was identified that the nursing staff does not provide quality care since one of the fundamental roles of the nurse is to be an educator and encourage prevention and health promotion. According to comparisons between articles and the present project, Zafra (2015) mentions that the low quality of health care is a great obstacle so that vaccine coverage cannot be achieved, in its survey applied to nurses, there is evidence (39.1 percent), reliability towards them, (46.5 percent) responsiveness, (31.4 percent) security, (28.8 percent) empathy and (30.6 percent) good treatment. Reality different from the present investigation since it could be determined that the poor attention by the staff is a factor for not attending the administration of vaccines; this indicates that the staff does not provide good care. Conclusion: a continuous improvement plan is proposed which is aimed at nurses, through training to improve the nurse-patient relationship, a six-month follow-up will be carried out through a user satisfaction survey to determine the increase in vaccine coverage.2019-01-01T00:00:00Z
