| Descripción : | The growing trend in Ecuadorian society for improving health and appearance, while creating and improving personal relationships of older adults, gives a new insight to provide focused service to the before mentioned segment of people, which will work thephysical, mental and emotional areas of the users. Given all the information above, the company "Años Dorados" will be constructed based on a mission and a vision that go along with goals, values, policies, strategies and a committed team. This company will allow the user to experience a culture of fitness using rumbatherapy, yoga, aerobics, machines that reduce impact on joints, and mental therapy. As a result of this, an analysis was created to determine in which cities of Ecuador are more seniors between the ages of 60 and 89 years old. Quito in fact did havethe largest number of elderly people (201,126), followed by Guayaquil (197,456) and Cuenca(52,355). For this reason, services will be offered at a gym that will be located in Quito. According to studies, it was found that in most cases elder Ecuadorians suffer from blood pressure (46%), bone-muscle (14%), cardiovascular (21%), and other problems. (Freire Wilma. Health, wellness and aging poll. 2010). The financial study of this project determined that “Años Dorados” is afeasible company. Completing anIRR (Internal Rate of Return) of 35.54%, and a NPV (Net Present Value) of $60.674,97, we have come to the conclusion that the business is ready to be implemented. |
