Descripción : The following business plan wills to present the feasibility of producing and commercializing facial scrubs, based on cranberries, imported from Chile in the city of Quito. To this effect, it was necessary to conduct an extensive investigation of the external environment of the cosmetic industry (CIIU: C2023.31) on political, economic, social and technological matters; analyze the five forces of Porter and measure all External issues with an Evaluation matrix (EFE) which had as result rising opportunities than threats. Among the most important: the close commercial relations between Ecuador and Chile. Additionally, the qualitative and quantitative analysis indicate the strong interest of the target market for the product due to the amount of properties and benefits that cranberries bring, considered as the main differential factor for the skin. From there, all business opportunities and competitive advantages over other substitutes are presented through the value proposal. In order to define price, product, place and promotion strategies, a Marketing Mix plan was performed. This analysis means to specify all properties, characteristics, branding and support of the product; the fixed and variable costs, profit margin to define the final price, as well as the clients of the company (in this particular case Specialty Stores), and how to promote the product and costs incurred in it. On the other hand, the organizational structure of the company is presented, involving all the internal process to be followed for the manufacturing of the facial exfoliants. With this in mind, it is important to expose the value chain, flow diagrams of production, import and distribution processes, in order to define the optimal time and resources, both physical and human, that mean producing the exfoliant. Finally, the results are shown in the Financial Model, which allows to know if the Business Plan is profitable for both the company and the investors.
