Descripción : The machica is considered by the World Health Organization as a superfood, the present business plan aims to measure the commercial and financial viability, to establish a Company dedicated to the manufacture and export of energy bars based on machica and dehydrated uvilla to Guatemala City. For the present work, a study of the external environments was carried out, in order to determine the threats and opportunities to which the company Ecua Energy Bars is exposed to, also based on the ISIC (C1061.21), an exhaustive analysis of the industry, was made to later analyze the five forces of porter, concluding that the development of this work has a favorable environment since Ecuador maintains a partial scope agreement which excludes the payment of taxes in the country of destination. Additionally, customer analysis was carried out, in which qualitative and quantitative research was used, to determine the tastes and preferences of the consumers, in order to define the target market and the characteristics of the product. In the marketing plan, the general strategy was determined, in order to position the brand in the market and in the minds of Guatemala consumers. With regard to the organizational structure, an organizational chart is established with the number of employees and the activities to be performed. The energy bars elaboration process is set together with the detail of the export process to the country of destination, finally the steps to create a company are indicated according to the Ecuadorian regulations. Finally, in the financial chapter are detailed the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, in addition to the financial indicators. To start up the present project an initial investment of $ 31,697.12 dollars is needed, from which 60% is its own capital and the remaining 40% is financed through a bank loan. It is evident that the project is profitable when obtaining a VAN $ 11,228.07 dollars, and a TIR 34.65%.
