dc.description	The true essence of this work is to analyze propaganda, political, social, economic, idiosyncrasy aspects, among others; starting from the fact of the success of the PRE in the province of Esmeraldas and the hypothesis that: Propaganda is the cause why in Esmeraldas is voted for the PRE. During the development of this we will see issues such as Populism in Latin America; phenomenon that has been worth studies of many professionals who are passionate about this new way of doing politics. There will be definitions of specialists in the field in which they will give their point of view about this particular way of doing politics. There will also be an analysis of Contemporary Populism in the continent with the campaigns of former presidents such as Fernando Collor de Mello in Brazil, Carlos Saúl Menem in Argentina, Alberto Fujimori in Peru, and of course Abdalá Bucarám in Ecuador with whom the reader will be able to make comparisons between the determining factors in each of them and draw their own conclusions. This work could not ignore issues such as the Ecuadorian political history and in this case that of Esmeraldas, which will be reviewed in a brief way from the beginning of Ecuador as the Royal Audience of Quito until our time. We will analyze the recent Esmeralda political history in which we will not leave aside the surnames that they made and make political power in this province, we will address issues such as the caciquismo that prevails there and other particular aspects of the way in which politics is made.	en
