dc.descriptionThe present work seeks for the feasibility of the creation of a specialized company that organices childrens parties at their homes in the city of Quito and the Valleys in Cumbaya and Tumbaco. That would be called La Locura. As working mothers we have experienced looking for different places where childrens parties take place and we have found that there are very few that offer special and original alternatives. Mothers today must work for additional monetary income and to provide more comfort to their family and the opportunity for their children to enjoy their birthday or social events. The time that this organization takes while working, causes their time limitation in their homes and in the planning of social events. This is why we have seen the need to incorporate high value to an aggressive advertising and promotion strategy, with the objective that mothers know that they can count on us to make his or her childrens party and special event and special day. According to market research conducted it was observed that 91 % of mothers organize their childrens parties seeking originality, and looking for an unforgettable and unique day for her child. According to information obtained, mothers spend an average of more than 350.00 USD. Both the interviews to experts, surveys, focus group and observation indicate that there is great opportunity and profitability for the business. La Locura Company will have direct suppliers and a variety of products and services to offer to its customers. The distribution channels are mainly used in office that will be located in Quito which is considered a central north-central area because it has the best access roads, as well as through their website. According to the financial study it estimates an initial investment USD 51,361.6 for the launch of the business. Under a normal scenario, a leveraged internal rate of return of 91.3 % and a net present value (NPV) of USD 78294 demonstrates the financial viability.en
