| Descripción : | The World Bank claims that, to improve the conditions of health and sanitation in developing countries of Latin America, it is necessary to work in partnership between public, private and educational centers that promote the formation of competent professionals. In order to ensure that the projected treatment systems are efficient in the management of resources (Kelly A. Reynolds, 2002 y Yee-Batista, 2014). The present work develops the elaboration of an experimental model of the preliminary phase of a wastewater treatment pilot plant. For which used of equations and formulas for the determination of unitary variables, design bases, hydraulic and sizing considerations, essential for the design and construction of the model. The experimental model is designed and built following the guidelines of the Ecuadorian Code of Construction. In addition, the design and constructions plans are presented that will serve as the basis for the future model improvements. |
