This, done by economical approaches that analyses timber and nontimber forest goods, environmental services like provision of water and scenic beauty within the montane rainforest in the North ecosystem, located between 2800 and 2500 altitude meters with a total area of 200 hectares studied. The results of the investigation were 12 species with timber potential with a contribution of 2.345.217 and 34.708.663, 48 as non timber forest resources for medical, cosmetic treatments among others. The service of provision of water with a contribution of 3.831.989 dollars and service of scenic beauty with a total contribution of 3.082.377 including all values taken by tourists and assumptions specified in each calculation. You could be concluded on the basis of the cost benefit, with a value of 0.026, that the maintenance of the Yunguilla forest and conservation of environmental services is the best economic, environmental and social choice for the community.
