| Resumen : | En este proyecto de investigación se analizará la efectividad del rol de mediador ejercido por el Estado del Vaticano en el conflicto internacional de Cuba y Estados Unidos con el afán de responder si el Estado del Vaticano fue capaz de resolver la disputa mencionada a través de varias estrategias utilizadas por el Papa quien es el máximo líder de la Santa Sede para otorgarle un prestigio de buen mediador internacional. Esto se realizará mediante una evaluación al accionar del tercero bajo varios parámetros escogidos de fuentes académicas que caracterizan a un mediador, particularidades mediadoras que serán valoradas por los tres últimos Sumos Pontífices que se detallan en el trabajo. Del mismo modo se concluirá que el concepto de mediación demostrará ser un mecanismo de solución de controversias de manera muy efectiva y conveniente para buscar acuerdos entre las partes. Análogamente, las fuentes académicas que se van a utilizar darán cuenta de las causas y consecuencias del conflicto. Los textos de los autores que se los usará para explicar la importancia de la mediación, las cuales se verán reflejadas en este trabajo. Una conclusión adicional será explicar cómo el Estado Vaticano se convirtió en un actor muy importante para la solución de los conflictos entre los Estados Unidos y Cuba. |
| Descripción : | This research project will analyze the effectiveness of the role of mediator exercised by the Vatican State in the international conflict in Cuba and the United States with the desire to respond if the Vatican State was able to resolve the aforementioned dispute through various strategies used by the Pope who is the maximum leader of the Holy See to grant him a reputation as a good international mediator. This will be done through an evaluation of the actions of the third party under various parameters chosen from academic sources that characterize a mediator, mediating particularities that will be valued by the last three Pontifical Sums that are detailed in the work. In the same way, it will be concluded that the concept of mediation will prove to be a mechanism of dispute resolution in a very effective and convenient way to seek agreements between the parties. Similarly, the academic sources that will be used account for the causes and consequences of the conflict. The texts of the authors will be used to explain the importance of mediation, which will be reflected in this work. An additional conclusion will be to explain how the Vatican State became a very important actor for the solution of the conflicts between the United States and Cuba. |
