Descripción : The aim of this investigation is to create recycled procedures for cylindrical test concrete specimens. Cylindrical concrete tests are used in laboratories to define pressure strength. The reason to undertake this project is demonstrate this material can be recycled, and new concrete suitable for construction projects can be produced. This study will use recycled aggregate to replace 25% and 50% of coarse aggregate. Concrete posts from the Elecdor factory were utilized to find the method of crushing concrete for the laboratory experiment. To comply with the Ecuadorian Institute of Standards (INEN), laboratory test will be performed on coarse and fine aggregate from new and recycle materials. Subsequently, a design will be created using the American Concrete Institute (ACI) methods to ensure dosages of recycled concrete have the strength of 17.66 MPa. The study will identify the laboratory tests, which must be done on coarse and fine aggregates, and the results will be shared with the public; also, tests must be performed on fresh, cured and on the cracking of the concrete. Tests must be done on 28-day old concrete to determine the compression strength. The results will be analyzed to determine specific uses of recycled concrete. Waste concrete specimen samples were taken from three companies in Quito to establish how much recycled material could be produced. The cost of the recycled aggregate and recycled concrete will be measure in cube meters.
