| dc.description | The research was realized in order to obtain clinical information about vital signs after the application of dental anesthetic: 4 percent articaine associated with 1/100 000 epinephrine in 80 patients, that is why the main objective of this research was to identify the changes in the vital signs after the application of dental anesthetic with epinephrine. As a reference, it was used the medical record of Club de Leones Quito dental clinic in order to know about the personal information and to confirm their systemic health. Materials and methods: the volunteers were submitted for a lower third molar extraction. For this procedure the vital signs were registered and analyzed in two moments: Before surgery; After surgery. Results: At the end of research a change was observed in both systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure was observed.
