Esta zona perteneció al pueblo ancestral de los Kayambis pueblo luchador que dio resistencia a la invasión incaica alrededor de 17 años, con costumbres y tradiciones muy arraigadas desde la antigüedad...
Descripción : Canton is located in the North of the Province of Pichincha- Ecuador, 1 hour from the City of Quito. This area belonged to the ancestral town of the Kayambis, a fighting town that gave resistance to the Inca invasion around 17 years, with customs and traditions very rooted from the antiquity. Currently Cayambe is recognized mainly by its volcano which is crossed by the equatorial line, its roses and its biscuits. One of the long-term objectives of the GADIP MC (Autonomous Decentralized Intercultural and Plurinational Government of the Municipality of Cayambe) is to internationalize the tourism and all the cultural and natural attributes that Cayambe possesses. To achieve this goal, more and more tourism projects have been developed that attract the attention of all visitors, projects such as community tourism, milk route, route of roses and among others the promotion of their traditional festivals to which more and more people attend. At the same time that Cayambe is gaining notoriety, we must work on a proposal that will help reinforce the perception of an ideal destination city, to begin Cayambe must have a City Brand with a solid visual language that manages to transmit the essence of this fascinating place. The final product presented below in the project is a City Brand, a Corporate Identity Manual containing a Graphic Style Manual and a Promotion System that were planned and designed to meet the objectives that were set. The proposal, based on an investigation by the City, its habitants and tourists, allows Cayambe to have a solid visual image and to transmit through the brand and its management the essence of the Canton, its personality, its history and mainly its lesser known cultural attributes.
