Light constantly changes, and that alters the atmosphere and the beauty of things every minute. Claude Monet. Light design and lamps are a basic element in space ambience and optimization throughout the world. However, excessive energy consumption is a threat for the environment (U.S. Energy Information Administration, 2017). It is for this reason that lamp production that finds a compromise between environment responsibility and light quality is becoming ever more urgent. At the same time, there exists a strongly entrenched tendency towards energy saving in Ecuador, thus, eco-friendly products find high acceptance among the population (INEC, 2015). Indeed, in Ecuador exists a powerful trend aiming to protect the nascent national industry, and that is why the government has taken restrictive measures against lamp importation, which in turn has pushed the growth of the country is decorative lamp production around 10,20% in the last six years (SRI SAIKU, 2016) It is in this way that the Luciérnaga Producciones CIA LTDA project was born, with its desire to produce and commercialize the CLOUD LIGHT model. This personal lamp design is a premium model that imitates the organic shape of a cloud, equipped with LED technology highly eco-friendly and capable of shuffling between 16 different light colors which enhance the benefits of chromotherapy as a treatment for stress. This product will have as its target market people between 21 and 44 years of age inside the Quito district, who look for these illumination products. The general marketing strategy to be used will be “differentiation” that consist in highlighting the product by their own distinctive attributes, such as the 100 percent handmade production, its unique design and its technological characteristics that surpass common lamps that limit it selves to illuminate. The investment of this project has been valued in 35 973 USD, composed by 60percent of own capital and 40 percent of loan.en
