It is said that the cultures that live in museums disappear, but how true is that thought in a world increasingly updated with technology. In the same way that the technology revolution has grown enormously, music in its countless forms of interpretation these days can be in a state of ubiquity being in several places at the same time thanks to the internet, this allows each time there is greater access to the culture of other distant places. Thus, the following is the research work that refers to the albazo and the bembé; emphasizing in the information that mainly deals with musical characteristics, without neglecting the historical and cultural references of each one of them. In chapter one the history, general cultural and musical characteristics of both the albazo and the bembé are addressed. It is important to emphasize history because it is the only source of the cultures that are transmitted from generation to generation by oral tradition. It returns part of the traditions of the people, defining in this way the culture. Since music is the main interest of this research, chapter two deals with the musical analysis of the two rhythms to delimit the main rhythmic characteristics that are applied in the arrangements and compositions of this work, emphasizing the rhythmic section. Chapter three shows the experimentation of the fusion in the arrangements and in the compositions, taking into account some points of encounter between the rhythmic variations of the albazo and the rhythmic patterns of the bembé with the African key. Mergers or mixtures have always existed by nature, so that culture has been growing without rest, music mixing elements of different traditions generates a new sound space, this sound space is what is intended with this research work, Then, the theoretical support of everything mentioned above.en
