Resumen : Al presente proyecto de titulación le correspondió analizar los elementos musicales del pop alternativo, tomando como referencia dos artistas solistas que han conseguido un lugar importante en la industria musical, Lana del Rey y Lorde. El contenido melódico de la voz sobre distintos contextos armónicos y rítmicos son los elementos que se recopilan a lo largo de esta investigación. Se buscó que cada tema contenga estos elementos y así poder aplicarlos a la creación de dos temas inéditos. La investigación está dividida en tres partes; la primera, busca recopilar información del contexto histórico de las artistas y del género musical para así tener un trasfondo de lo que se quiere conseguir. La segunda, analizar musicalmente los cuatro temas seleccionados, indagando en la melodía, armonía y ritmo. La tercera, crear cuatro arreglos de los temas analizados y aplicar las técnicas encontradas en la creación de dos temas inéditos. Toda esta investigación será mostrada en un concierto final el cual corresponde al área de performance. La metodología de investigación utilizada en este trabajo es documental en la primera parte, transcriptiva en la segunda y experimental en la tercera parte.
Descripción : The present academic degree project analyzed the musical elements of alternative pop, taking as reference two solo artists who have obtained an important place in the musical industry, Lana del Rey and Lorde. The melodic content is analyzed in different harmonic and rhythmic contexts collecting elements throughout this investigation. It was sought that each selected song contained these elements to be able to apply them to the creation of two unpublished compositions. The investigation is divided in three parts; the first one seeks to gather information about the historical context of the artists and the musical genre in order to have a background of what is to be achieved. The second, analyze the music of the four selected songs, evaluating the melody, harmony and rhythm. The third, create four arrangements of the analyzed songs and apply the techniques found in the creation of two unpublished compositions. All this research will be shown in a final concert which corresponds to the performance area. The methodology of the research used in this work is documentary in the first part, transcriptive in the second and experimental in the third part.
