| dc.description | The Urban Plan of La Mariscal, carried out by the Workshop AR0960, proposes the recovery of this parish in the city of Quito, whose main objective is that people return to live in this place. Since La Mariscal became the center of entertainment and administrative bodies over the years, it has lost its permanent inhabitants to receive daily large numbers of non permanent users who seek for recreation or work in this place. During the analysis of this sector, it was possible to understand the dynamics existing in the site, in order to be able to address the best solutions, establishing sustainable mobility strategies, in which the use of public transport and cycle paths predominates, the subject of heritage is also addressed. Which is a factor of interest in this area due to the presence of many heritage buildings which are recovered and protected for their survival as part of the history of the place, attached to this a link of public space was integrated that seeks to supply the need of green areas of the new inhabitants of the area. Finally, the incorporation of urban facilities by type was analyzed according to the new population demands. The Gastronomic Center is born from this need of new facilities. This seeks to provide a space conducive to the development of cultural and commercial activities complemented with teaching in gastronomy, promoting the appropriation of public space and allowing the relocation of street vendors in the area, which are currently selling their products in a state of unhealthiness. | dc.description.abstract | El Plan de Ordenamiento Urbano de La Mariscal, realizado por el Taller AR0960, plantea la recuperación de esta parroquia en la ciudad de Quito, cuyo principal objetivo es que las personas vuelvan a vivir en este lugar. Ya que al convertirse en el centro de diversión y de organismos administrativos a lo largo de los años ha perdido sus habitantes permanentes para recibir diariamente gran cantidad de usuarios flotantes que buscan recreación o trabajan en este sitio. Durante el análisis de este este sector se pudo entender las dinámicas existentes en el sitio, para poder abordar las mejores soluciones, estableciendo estrategias de movilidad sostenible, en la que predominan el uso de transporte público y ciclovías, también se aborda el tema de patrimonio el cual es un factor de interés en esta zona por la presencia de gran cantidad de edificaciones patrimoniales las cuales son recuperadas y protegidas para su perduración como parte de la historia del lugar, a esto se integró una red de espacio público que busca abastecer las áreas óptimas para los nuevos habitantes de la zona. Por último, se analizó la incorporación de equipamientos por tipologías de acuerdo con las nuevas demandas poblacionales. El Centro Gastronómico nace de esta necesidad de nuevos equipamientos, este busca proveer de un espacio propicio para el desarrollo de actividades culturales y comerciales complementadas con la capacitación en gastronomía, fomentando la apropiación del espacio público y permitiendo la re ubicación de vendedores ambulantes de la zona los cuales en la actualidad se encuentran vendiendo sus productos en estado de insalubridad. Con esto se busca promocionar y promover el consumo de alimentos típicos del Ecuador a turistas y residentes de la zona. | es_ES |
