dc.descriptionBacterial index was compared in the abutment teeth of the “Universidad de las Américas” patients who presented removable partial dentures of chromium cobalt, acrylic and flexible. Objectives Measure the degree of mobility in the abutment teeth of patients with removable partial denture (RPD), determinate what type of material is the most frequently presented for the elaboration of RPD and verify which type of material presents a higher index plaque on abutment teeth. Methodology: Miller s index was used marking the level of mobility in each tooth was found. The plaque index was measured, using the Simplified Oral Hygiene Index as a base. Results: 1-The acrylic prostheses showed the highest degree of mobility Grade 3. 2.-Of the 50 patients studied, the majority used cobalt chromium. 3.-The cobalt chromium RPD present minor incidence of bacterial plaque.en
