Resumen : Chak: fonema primordial: “CHAK” es una propuesta que surge del planteamiento antropológico, la perduración de una civilización se da a través de sus vestigios, su huella, su aporte...
Descripción : Chak: primordial phoneme: "CHAK" is a proposal that arises from the anthropological approach, the survival of a civilization is given through its vestiges, its footprint, its contribution. It involves generating a space of memory that has the purpose of giving a sense of temporality -extend, immortalize, perpetuate, endure-through a work. It establishes a referential parameter by means of signs and symbols that speak of a civilizing becoming and therefore of an identity. The proposal starts from the need of the human being to generate memory and experience as to the superior necessity of belonging. In this way Chak is born, a fictional civilization that borders the fantastic world and the real world. The name of a civilization of the lost continent of Mu. The conceptualization of the Chak proposal, arises from the meta-historical imaginary of a lost continent; creates a fiction based on real elements, a mythology before the flood. The Mu continent disappeared thousands of years ago. Of its disappearance there were survivors that migrated and extended towards the four cardinal points. One of these points was the territory that is now Ecuador. The vestiges of this migration; monoliths, petroglyphs, banners, totems, whistles and seals have been found in the region of the Ecuadorian coast. Archaeological resources serve as means for the dating of the existence of a civilization. In this sense, the evidence of the imaginary of existence is generated. This project suggests being exhibited in a museum institution as to the importance of the consequence of space. That is, the possibility of generating work from the archaeological and semantic reinterpretation, represent it in a space whose mission is to generate and care for collections. In turn, a museum is a space that generates collection-evidence decontextualizing the work of its place of origin. Through industrial graphic design, Chak questions the empirical paradigms of archeology, its validation and its relevance in the construction of history and identity. The whole of the proposal is to activate the ancestral genetic / identity memory to which we belong by means of the resignification. Preserve, collect. The reinterpretation from my perception, allows this endurance of the experience and memory of a culture through time in a tangible way.
