| Descripción : | This multimedia report evolves around the celibacy problematic execution that exists inside the Roman Catholic Church. The investigation project pretends to demonstrate how catholic priests that has opted to be married and belong to catholic churches that are not precisely governed by the Vatican, such as the Iglesia Católica Apostólica Nacional (ICANDE) and the Iglesia Episcopal, Anglican Communion. As principles objectives an investigation was done to identify the changes and regulations respect to the celibacy that has being given in the Roman Catholic Church and their handling in Ecuador in the last few years. Additionally, to acknowledge the perspectives of representatives from different catholic cults, priests and congregation about the celibacy, and show narrations and cases about the priests that are married and live in the country. For that, interviews were made to representatives from each church, before mentioned, and also to married priests and their wife is that belong to these churches. On the other hand, experts and clinical psychologists were consulted to obtain more significant material about the consequences and effects that happens when people have a celibate life, otherwise a theologian was consulted to deepen about the origins of this so called celibacy theory. It can be said that, the investigation of this human law and not divine, as the celibacy, takes the Catholic Church to a separation, and in some cases priests have to live a double life. |
