| dc.description | In the ninth semester the students of the AR0960 Workshop carried out an urban plan located in one of the oldest sectors of the city of Quito, which is La Mariscal Sucre, also known as La Mariscal, which is located in the Iñaquito plain, in the north center of the city. Geographically it is delimited by Av. Patria to the south, Av. 12 de Octubre to the east, Av. Francisco de Orellana to the north and Av. 10 de Agosto to the west. Nowadays it is one of the tourist areas with a great economic activity, where its streets and house have a great patrimonial and historical value, reason why within the developed urban plan it is important to see how the sector was formed and the important changes that are have been giving with the passage of time until the present. Within the urban plan proposed by the workshop, four major themes were proposed; morphology, mobility, public space and equipment, which determined the different problems that currently exist, which were mainly due to the rapid growth of the city. Later urban strategies were generated to restore vitality to the sector and give it a vocation, without leaving aside the tourist and commercial attraction. One of the main problems identified is that there are currently no facilities designed for adolescents and youth in the sector in which there are different recreation and training activities for them, since there are only equipment for children and the older adult. Therefore, it is decided to implement within the proposed facilities a youth center to help vulnerable young people in the sector to reintegrate and interact with the community, providing different activities. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | En noveno semestre los estudiantes del Taller AR0960, realizaron un plan urbano localizado en uno de los sectores más antiguos de la ciudad de Quito, La Mariscal Sucre, conocido también como La Mariscal. Esta se encuentra localizada en la llanura de Iñaquito, en el centro norte de la ciudad. Geográficamente está delimitado por la Av. Patria al sur, Av. 12 de octubre al este, Av. Francisco de Orellana al norte y la Av. 10 de agosto al oeste. Esta es actualmente una de las zonas turísticas con mayor actividad económica, en donde sus calles y casas tienen un gran valor patrimonial e histórico, por lo que dentro del plan urbano desarrollado es importante ver como se fue formando el sector y los cambios importantes que se han ido dando con el trascurso del tiempo. Dentro del plan urbano propuesto por el taller se plantearon cuatro grandes temáticas, las cuales son; morfología, movilidad, espacio público y equipamientos, en donde se determinaron las diferentes problemáticas que existen actualmente, las cuales se dieron principalmente por el crecimiento rápido de la ciudad. Posteriormente se generaron estrategias urbanas para devolver la vitalidad al sector y darle una vocación, sin dejar de lado el atractivo turístico y comercial Uno de los principales problemas que se determinó es que no existen actualmente equipamientos pensados para los adolescentes y jóvenes del sector en los cuales existan diferentes actividades de recreación y capacitación para ellos, ya que solo hay equipamientos infantiles y del adulto mayor. Es por este motivo que se decide implementar dentro de los equipamientos propuestos, un centro juvenil que ayude a los jóvenes vulnerables del sector a reintegrase y relacionarse con la comunidad, brindando diferentes actividades. | es_ES |
