| dc.description | The following paper seeks to determine the patterns of normality according to age, education level and gender of the Batería Neuropsicológica Breve en Español Neuropsi for the healthy population of the Metropolitan District of Quito. This test measures cognitive domains and it is widely used in the Ecuadorian context by mental health specialists and researchers. The investigation has for specific objectives to gather the sample´s scores; to analyze the reliability and validity of content, criterion, and construct; as well as to generate charts of normative data for the population. The gathering of normative data could help Ecuadorian professionals to have an instrument which would be validated and reliable. Thus, the wellness of the patients would increase through precise diagnoses, less false positives, better treatments and applications in future researches with clinical sample. The following study is structured cuantitative, exploratory and nonexperimental, where the sample size would be conformed by 384 persons divided in stratifications of gender, age and education level. | en |
| dc.description.abstract | El presente estudio busca determinar los patrones de normalidad según edad, escolaridad y género de la Batería Neuropsicológica Breve en Español Neuropsi para población sana del distrito metropolitano de Quito. Esta prueba mide dominios cognoscitivos y es utilizada ampliamente en el contexto ecuatoriano por especialistas de la salud mental e investigadores. La investigación posee como objetivos específicos el recopilar puntajes de la muestra; analizar la confiabilidad y validez de contenido, criterio y constructo; así como generar tablas de datos normativos para la población. La recopilación de datos normativos ayudaría a profesionales ecuatorianos a tener un instrumento que sea más válido y confiable, de esta forma se incrementaría el bienestar de pacientes con diagnósticos precisos, menos falsos positivos, mejores tratamientos y aplicaciones en investigaciones futuras con muestra clínica. La investigación a realizarse es carácter cuantitativo estructurado, exploratoria y no experimental, en donde la muestra estará conformada por 384 personas divididas en los estratos de género, edad y escolaridad. | es_ES |
