Descripción : The project is a business plan for the creation of a company dedicated to the production and marketing of cocoa shell infusion bags located in the city of Latacunga. The sale of these infusions will be destined to supermarkets, shops and coffee shops, in this way the product can reach the final consumer. The infusions are distributed in a van and sold in small cartons containing 25 units each. The brand of the product will be "Cacaotízate" for the reason that the product is similar to a bag of tea. It is important to mention that the product is launched to the market by the incentive that the government of Ecuador promotes the consumption of domestic products and also helps the progress and growth of small and medium enterprises. The implantation of this business belongs to the International Industrial Uniform classification (ISIC) C1079.13 that makes reference to the elaboration of extracts and prepares a base of the tea; Mixture of tea and partner, infusions of herbs (mint, chamomile, verbena, etc.). The analysis of the industry determines that the direct competition of this business is all the products that allow to consume hot beverages count as coffee, tea or aromatic waters. For this, it is important to mention that infusions based on cocoa husks have unique properties and characteristics that help the health of people; In this way they achieve a great differentiator that makes the product potentially competitive. The market research revealed the tastes and preferences of the customers of the city of Latacunga and concluded that the market target has about 22,965 people of socio-economic level B and C +. Financially, the project is viable because the IRR of 23,11% is bigger than the WACC of 16,29%.
