| dc.description | Nowadays, the consumption of fruit pulp has been incorporated into the everyday life of the Europeans. Italy imports a significant amount of fruit pulp or derivatives because the climate of the country is not the most ideal for the production of different fruits. Europeans have a great taste for exotic flavors. The following project aims at creating a kind of liquid pineapple pulp in the city of Quito-Ecuador. The new product utilizes the fruit called pineapple Md2 which has an exquisite sweet taste with a unique presentation differentiated from other types of pineapples. The produced pineapple pulp will be exported to Italy. On the other hand, the marketing plan will be structured with different strategies and marketing combinations that are composed of Price, Product and Promotion. In addition, the organizational structure of the company will be tailored in accordance with the different production and export processes. In this chapter, you will also find a variety of other tools, materials, and supplies. Finally, the financial indices will be calculated with the purpose of determining the viability of the business plan. The positive NPV and an IRR at 36.31 percent are strong indicators for a successful result for the project. | en |
