dc.descriptionThe elaboration of handicrafts in Ecuador is a tradition that has been kept through the years. The handmade products characterize and identify the Ecuadorian culture. Artisans from different provinces dedicate their life in this work and use ancestral techniques in their manufacture. The art of making handicrafts means time and the value is unique.AMADA is a company that has the objective to preserve the Ecuadorian culture through handmade purses made by “Telares”, an ancestral manual technique that has been disappearing. Families of tiny communities from Otavalo look for the way to maintain this tradition. That is the reason why the purses and bags have history and will be passed on all over the world by AMADA brand. The market that has been selected to export the handmade bags and purses is Chile. A country that has an economic and political stability. Many abroad companies set up their business in Chile because it brings confidence to internationalize their products. AMADA purses will be sold in one of the most visited shopping malls of Santiago de Chile called Costanera Mall Center. The target is women between 24 and 35 years old that are looking for exclusivity in their products AMADA has a vision, mission and clear, attainable and measurable objectives. The workers commit themselves with their activities in order to guarantee a successful project.en
