| Descripción : | The present project is about the subgenus of the Jazz, known like Gypsy Jazz. It is an investigation and practical work of recording and musical production of the song Bjarke's Theme of the authorship of Bjarke Lude, interpreted by the group the Pompe Noire. It is an investigation that explores in detail the technical aspects but is not limited to them. It is also an exploration of the music genre, its origins, the gypsy culture that frames it, the instrumentation, musical characteristics and the work of its greatest representative Django Reinhardt. It is also an investigation of the development of the genre until our days, taking how an example the microphone techniques and contemporary recording devices the Bireli Lagrenes sound. This is a document describe step by step the process of music production. The Chapter Pre-production include the Time Sheet (relationship´s thickness), and times work. Next, on the chapter production is possible to find the reasons and techniques with that were recorded all the instruments, enable understand how use the microphones and link devices. Finally, on the chapter post production, the focus is the mix and mastering, with special attention about parallel compress and plug-ins. All decisions respect the engineer's process and reach a sound vintage. The consequence is a track that respects the genre and features of the gypsy culture. Besides have a creative concept that’s a fundamental column, from where born the album cover and some feature sound. |
