| dc.description | This project main objective consist on producing the single Calle Funk by the band Polvazo Cosmico which emphasize in rescue and protect the street view of the culture and its components like music and its own social context aiming to break the existent taboo inside society through music itself, for this propose musical genres such as Funk, Rock and Disco were taken as influence so these musical genres were studied in order to respect its properties, rhythmic, harmonics, and pitch. The development of this production consisted of three important steps which were pre-production, production and post-production specific subjects which will enhance were handled the song sonority from the sketch to the final product. In pre-production process bands as James Brown, Parliament and Funkadelic where studied as well in order to make easier the creativity process in which every person of the project was involved. Making an agreement about the musical structure, arrangements, dynamics and performance would be very important to continue with production process. Into production process some important technical decisions were taken like the kind of technic that would be better to use, the location of each musician into the room, which instrument would be the best to record, and the type of preamp and interface that would be used, not only in order to adjust the production to the real budget but also to prove that a musical production could be carried out with semiprofessional equipment. Finally, in post-production the final track will be mixed through plugins. More than a final project this document should be seen as a guide to musicians and musical producers who want to perform their own productions with limited resources in that way encourage the development of new musical projects into the country in order to create a technology respectful industry out of the Ecuadorian market place. | en |
