| Resumen : | Los escándalos políticos se han convertido en un recurso frecuente dentro de la lucha por el poder a nivel mundial y es una de las principales estrategias dentro de la política para eliminar rivales, ya que la exposición de actos impropios ante la sociedad afecta la credibilidad, la confianza y la imagen que la población tiene en torno a un individuo. Los escándalos amenazan la estructura de moralidad que cambia dependiendo del contexto histórico y cultural de cada sociedad haciendo a este personaje inaceptable dentro de las estructuras del sistema político, y son usados con mayor frecuencia en época de elecciones. Los medios de comunicación han tenido un papel significativo dentro de esta práctica, ya que tienen la capacidad de hacer público y otorgar visibilidad a un actor o a un hecho, además que pueden impactar de manera significativa dentro de la ciudadanía, puesto que atraen la atención y provocan la crítica del público sobre determinados temas o gestiones por espacios determinados de tiempo, debido a que lo exponen a distintos flujos de información que ayudan a la formación de la opinión, por ello en algunas sociedades los escándalos se han convertido en un mecanismo de rendición de cuentas y de control democrático ayudando a que se dé un mejor funcionamiento del sistema político. |
| Descripción : | Political scandals have become a frequent resource within the global power struggle and one of the main strategies within the policy to eliminate rivals, since the exposure of acts impacted on society affects credibility, the confidence and the image that the population has around an individual. Scandals threaten the structure of morality that changes depending on the historical and cultural context of each one that makes this individual unacceptable within the structures of the political system, and the are used with the greatest frequency at the time of elections. The media have played a significant role in this practice, since they have the capacity to make public and give visibility to an actor or fact, and they can have a significant impact on the citizenry, which attention and cause the criticism of the public on the Specific issues of the managements by the determined spaces of time, because of what they expose them to the information flows that help the formation of opinion, so in some people scandals have been a mechanism of representation of accounts and democratic control helping to give a better functioning of the political system. |
