An apart hotel is a type of hotel that offers room services different from the classical room due to their rooms suite type, that is to say that they have living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom, on some occasions, you can also have a study and space for washing clothes. The project is located in the Mariscal, one block from the Plaza Foch, this is an área that has plenty of restaurants, bars, hotels, shops, which is a great for grabbing the attention of tourist, and even first time backpackers. Since 2011, the casino hotel Chalet Suisse has been around for nearly 30 years, and currently the building is not being use and any format. Proposing an interior designer is to design and to establish new use for every space within the hotel, due to the abandonment of almost 6 years the interior of the building is not in ideal conditions to be inhabited. The typology of hotel will remain but will change the concept apart hotel, creating new spaces leading users and future guests to have a pleasant stay. Demonstrating three important aspects for the design; Safety, Habitability and Functionality, resolving these aspects in the following way; A fire suppression system, will be respected and if it is necessary to strengthen the structure by ensuring the security of the guests and users within the hotel, as well as make use of renewable energies such as water harvesting and would create a system for proper disposal of waste in order to reduce the accumulation of water in the sewers of the city, finally we´ll creat ample spaces and comfortable while ensuring the comfort of users through the application of colors, textures, ergonomic furniture, Design Lighting, etc. The hotel will feature various spaces to achieve the best service, you will have; a lobby, a restaurant with a panoramic view, rooms suite with one or two rooms, single rooms, bar/nightclub, fitness center, spas, wet areas, multipurpose room, green cover accessible, stairs and elevators. The conceptualization of the project will be based on the Ecuadorian folklore in the province of Imbabura focusing on the Otavalo culture that will be reflected in the chromatic, decorative elements, upholstery, furniture design, etc.en
dc.description.abstractPropuesta interiorista del hotel Chalet Suisse a apart hotel. Un apart hotel es un tipo de hotel que brinda un servicio de habitación diferente a la clásica habitación debido a sus habitaciones tipo suite es decir que poseen sala, comedor, cocina, dormitorio y baño, en algunas ocasiones puede disponer también de un estudio y espacio de lavado de ropa. El proyecto se encuentra ubicado en La Mariscal a una cuadra de la plaza Foch, esta es una zona que dispone de gran cantidad de restaurantes, bares, hoteles, tiendas, los cuales son un gran llamativo turístico, encontrando de esta manera turistas mochileros hasta empresarios. Hasta el año 2011, aquí funcionó el hotel casino Chalet Suisse por casi 30 años, actualmente al edificio no se le está dando ningún uso. Por medio de una propuesta interiorista se pretende diseñar y dar uso nuevamente a cada espacio dentro del hotel, debido a que por el abandono de casi 6 años el interior del edificio no se encuentra en condiciones óptimas para ser habitado. La tipología de hotel se mantendrá, pero se cambiará el concepto a apart hotel, creando así nuevos espacios dando lugar a que los usuarios y futuros huéspedes tengan una estadía placentera. Se ha tenido en cuenta tres aspectos importantes para el diseño; la seguridad, la habitabilidad y la funcionalidad, resolviendo estos aspectos de la siguiente manera; Se implementará un sistema de extinción de incendios, se respetará y si es necesario se reforzará la estructura garantizando la seguridad de los huéspedes y usuarios dentro del hotel, así mismo se hará uso de energías renovables como son la recolección de aguas lluvias y se creará un sistema de evacuación de residuos adecuado para de esta manera reducir la acumulación extra de agua en el alcantarillado de la ciudad, por último se crearán espacios amplios y cómodos garantizando el confort de los usuarios por medio de la aplicación de colores, texturas, mobiliario ergonómico, diseño de iluminación, etc. El hotel contará con diversos espacios para lograr el mejor servicio, dispondrá de; vestíbulo, restaurante con vista panorámica, habitaciones suite de una y dos dormitorios, habitaciones simples, bar/discoteca, gimnasio, spa, áreas húmedas, salón de uso múltiple, cubierta verde accesible, escaleras y ascensores. La conceptualización del proyecto estará basada en el folklore ecuatoriano en la provincia de Imbabura con enfoque en la cultura otavaleña que se verá reflejado en la cromática, elementos decorativos, tapicería, diseño de mobiliario, etc.es_ES
