Resumen : La granja experimental de NONO de la Universidad de las Américas dispone de 44.6 hectáreas, está ubicada en la provincia de Pichincha en la parroquia de Nono a 22 Km de la ciudad de Quito…
Descripción : The NONO Farm which is part of the University of the Americas is located in Pichincha in the county of Nono, 22 kilometers from the city of Quito. It has an extension of 44.6 acres and its main activities include Agricultural Production, Processing Products, and Practices Academic, Research as well as community projects. The mountainous, jungle vegetation with flora and fauna of the Andean forest contributes to the existence of rodents like rats which live in places inhabited by people or places with garbage, or packed food pantries, which facilitates their search for food. These unpleasant animals live throughout the year and like all rodents are reproduced easily. The Nono Farm has different modules such as: gallicultura, coturnicultura, cuyicultura and foods processing sites conducted Food Processing, where rodent presence should be avoided along with any related disease. For the aforementioned reasons this project has been implemented. The device generates ultrasonic waves that affect the nervous system of animals making unbearable to remain in the place of preference. These devices are connected through a network of Wireless Sensor Network (Wireless Sensor Networks) which are comprised of several nodes; each node is controlled by the UN ATmega 328 microcontroller. The system has a friendly graphic user interface which is this software developed in Visual Studio, which displays the values obtained by the WSN network with the detection of rodents.
