Resumen : Puerto Quito es considerado un punto focal dentro del turismo en el Ecuador por su inmenso patrimonio natural y cultural que posee, dentro de este cantón se encuentra ubicada la hostería Intiyaykuna en el kilómetro 140, su nombre significa donde se oculta el sol. Un proyecto turístico que vincula a satisfacer las necesidades del cliente con la oferta de una variedad de servicios y productos como; pesca deportiva, alojamiento, restaurante, rafting, tubing, ictinoterapía y la venta de su producto estrella; el caramelo de cacao aprovechando recursos hídricos existentes a su alrededor como el Río Caoni y Río Blanco. La comunidad que se encuentra en dominio de la hostería está formada por 6 pequeñas familias que están atravesando problemas económicos, razón por la cual es fundamental implementar un turismo ecológico comunitario, el cual al ser manejado bajo términos de sostenibilidad y responsabilidad ayuda a minimizar los impactos negativos ambientales, a su vez, creando nuevas fuentes de trabajo. El turista tendrá un intercambio cultural y perceptivo con la comunidad al observar cómo son sus costumbres. La intervención arquitectónica será diseñar espacios donde se evidencie el proceso de cultivo del cacao y la producción artesanal de chocolate en las 25 hectáreas de cacao existentes. También se rediseñara los espacios de las 3 cabañas para brindar confort al usuario mediante el uso de materiales ecológicos y verdes. La hostería se establecerá dentro de la categorización hostelera de 3 estrellas bajo parámetros ecológicos con distintos sistemas de ahorro energético y de agua. Es primordial que los espacios no solo alberguen al turista sino lo sensibilicen y guíen para la conservación de ese lugar, donde aprecie y respete a la naturaleza.
Descripción : Puerto Quito is considered to be a main focus within Ecuador is tourism sector because it possesses an immense natural and cultural heritage, this district is found in the Intiyaykuna Inn located at kilometer 140, its name means where the sun hides. A tourism project that links the needs of the customer by offering a variety of services and products such as; fishing, accommodation, restaurants, rafting, tubing ictinoterapia and the sale of its star product; cocoa candy, taking advantage of existing water resources surrounding Río Caoni and Río Blanco. The community that is in the domain of the lodge consists of 6 small families who are experiencing economic problems, that is the reason why it is essential to implement community-based ecological tourism, which is handled under terms of sustainability and responsibility to help minimize negative environmental impacts, at the same time, creating new sources of work. Tourists will have a cultural exchange with the community to observe how their customs are. The architectural intervention will design spaces where you can experience the cocoa cultivation process and the production of artisanal chocolate in the 25 existing acres of cocoa. Also, the spaces of the 3 cabins will be redesigned to provide comfort to the user through the use of green and organic materials. The lodge will be established within the hospitality categorization of 3 stars under ecological parameters with different energy and water saving systems. It is essential that the space not only houses the tourists but also raises awareness and guides them toward the preservation of that place, where the tourist can appreciate and respect nature.
