| Resumen : | El presente trabajo de Titulación se localiza en la ciudad de Francisco de Orellana Coca Ecuador y tiene por objeto fortalecer y diversificar la economía urbana a través del rediseño de la Franja Periférica Zona 4 FPZ4 actual área de malecón, y del Embarcadero Fluvial Francisco de Orellana EFFO sobre el Río Napo. Esta área se consolida como una nueva centralidad recreativa turística comercial promotora de la cohesión social y la identidad local, con una serie de equipamientos y servicios comunitarios para habitantes locales, regionales y turistas. El Embarcadero Fluvial adquiere significación como hito urbano, puerta de entrada a la región Amazónica, centro del transporte de mercaderías y personas entre las comunidades de los Ríos Napo, Coca y Payamino del Oriente ecuatoriano. Por este motivo, se profundizó en el conocimiento del área, realizando diagnóstico y evaluación de condiciones formales, funcionales, ambientales y estéticas, y se produjo un programa de necesidades para proveer de una franja de transición conectora de la ciudad y el Río. Se propone un Embarcadero Fluvial EFFO funcional, eficiente y formalmente adecuado a las demandas comerciales y turísticas actuales. Se aplican además, estrategias ambientales que promueven el confort ante las condiciones climáticas del lugar; y estrategias estéticas de color y materialidad que vinculan la expresión del proyecto con la identidad y el ambiente de las comunidades que habitan la región Amazónica. |
| Descripción : | The project is located in the city of Francisco de Orellana Coca, Ecuador and aims towards strengthening and diversifying the urban economy in the Peripheral Zone 4 FPZ4, which is the current riverfront, and also the River Pier Francisco de Orellana EFFO situated on the Napo River. This area is considered to be the new touristic, commercial and recreational center striving to promote social cohesion and local identity. It relies on a number of facilities and offers many services to local or regional residents and tourists. The River Pier has gained importance as an urban landmark, gateway to the Amazon, and as the center of transportation of goods and people between the communities of the Rivers Napo, Coca and Payamino of the Ecuadorian Amazon Region. For this reason, towards deepening knowledge of the area, making a diagnose and evaluation of the areas through formal, functional, environmental and aesthetic conditions which has allowed me to create a project that provides a transition strip to connect the city with the river. With this information, It is proposed a River Pier EFFO which is functional, efficient and formally suited to the present trade and tourism demands. Environmental strategies taking the climatic conditions into account have been put in place to provide comfort along with aesthetic strategies, through the use of specific colors and materials, which strive to link the project with the identity of the communities living in the Amazon and their environment. |
