| Descripción : | The level of knowledge about oral hygiene is an element that the literature has not thoroughly studied. Therefore, the purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between the levels of knowledge about oral hygiene in the teachers of oral hygiene. Child development centers age group determined, and associate it with the plate level of their represented, for which the simplified oral hygiene index (IHOS) was used. The results showed that if there was a relationship between the variables studied and that most of the collaborators had a level of regular knowledge that after the lectures imparted raised their level of knowledge to good. In addition, a large percentage of the individuals examined had a plaque level equivalent to 1.65 to 2.65 regular at first, after the chat these values changed being the most common between 0.17 and 1.00 percent which equals to good. |
